Help needed to set up a site with apache windows and virtual hosts

Hi guys,

I’m facing a very strange problem. I have set up a site with modx 0,96 and installed in a subfolder /htdocs/modx for apache 2.2 on windows xp.

When I try to access the site with the default url: http://www.mydomain.com I get a page cannot be displayed but if I try to access to the manager http://www.mydomain.com/manager it opens up fine the login page for the manager.

With the preview I can see my website by accessing the default site document (50) in my case.

Do you have any idea what this could be?? I’m unable to find the problem!!!

Any help would be very appreciated and if you need any extra info (httpd.conf or http-vhosts.conf files I could also post them)

I have found something even more curious if I first open the url http://www.mydomain.com/manager enter a valid user/pass and later on I open the url http://www.mydomain then it shows up!!!

So it seems to me like a kind of bug in this release? If I uncommented the line $modx->executeParser(); in index.php (last line) then it shows a white page but not any error so it seems there is any problem in the manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php file.

Should I check line by line that huge class?? or anyone has a better idea??

Hope I’m not the only one with this problem!!

F@!*ing statistics!!!

The problem was the invokeEvent("webPageRenderer") and the pluging PageCounterHit, I had to disable statistics for every page in my site!!!!

Just for anyone who could have the same problem and for the developers that could be addressed as a bug. Another day I will look into the plugin details to check what’s going wrong
