Hi ...
I developed a website on my development server, and everything is running ...
I moved the site to a hosted webspace ... I got the site running, but quick_edit and eForm are not working ...
Here the specs of the webspace ...
Web Server:
* PHP Version 4.4.0
- register_globals = On
* Apache/2.0.54
- htaccess not allowed
* Suse
Database:
* MySQL 4.1.13-Max
MODx:

The files are in place ...
Any suggestions?
thx, sucram
Please verify if this path is correct?
/web/hosts/rocketmedia.at/doc/
After it, verify if files are uploaded successfully.
Path is verfied, and files are in place ...
sucram
Form validation works, but can’t send mail ...

I suspect that you have "you @ yourdomain.com" in the Tools -> Configuration -> Users tab, change it to some real email with the domain hosted on that account. Some host don’t allow "From" email addresses other than hosted domains.
Hope it helps.
Nope ... didn’t help ---
The problem not only occurs with eForm ...
More detailed description:
If I log in to the manager, and I try to open the website, I get the quick edit error described above ...

Well the error clearly says: "No such file or directory", means its unable to find the needed files on the filesystem. To me it sounds corrupted upload.
Why assets are in doc directory ?
/web/hosts/rocketmedia.at/doc/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php
Personally i have put all the assets at the root of my webserver-domain-directory :
/xxx/xxx/rocketmedia.at/modules/quick_edit ...
and all in the assets like this
and i had to rewrite many paths in php files ...

/web/hosts/rocketmedia.at/doc/ is the document root ---
The files are at the correct place ... If I change the $mod_path in the quick_edit script from relative (assets/modules/quick_edit) to absolute (/web/hosts/rocketmedia.at/doc/assets/modules/quick_edit) it finds it ...
It seems that there is a problem including files from relative paths ...
sucram
Which $mod_path ? the only one in use is in
documentation.php ...
Which version do you have of quick_edit ?
in editor.class.inc.php , there is that, for example :
class QuickEditor {
function QuickEditor() {
include_once('contentVariable.class.inc.php');
global $modx;
global $qe_path;
global $QE_lang;
$this->output = '';
$lang = $modx->config['manager_language'];
$qe_path = MODX_BASE_PATH.$GLOBALS['quick_edit_path'];
$qe_eng_path = $qe_path.'/lang/english.inc.php';
$qe_lang_path = $qe_path.'/lang/'.$lang.'.inc.php';
include_once($qe_eng_path);
if(file_exists($qe_lang_path)) { include_once($qe_lang_path); }
}
