Cliche itemTpl not working

So I have:



Problem is that Cliche is not seeing my itemTpl, choosing instead to display a tpl from somewhere else. I have hand edited the item.tpl and itemzoom.tpl inside core/components/cliche/controllers/web/plugins/default to read class="zoom1" yet on my output even after clearing the cache, I am seeing



I have NO idea where it is getting class="zoom" from!

This is really frustrating.

By default, all chunks are filebased and are located in : "assets/components/cliche/plugins/[plugin]/[chunkName].tpl"

that is assets/... not core/...

But even so it is not a good idea to edit the default templates - if you updated the extra at some point you will lose your edited versions - you need to create your own templates and call them in your call

Thanks whistlemaker - I *did* create my own templates and called it, as I usually do with any snippet call....look at the first line of code in my post. Something is overriding it and can't figure out what.

I have only been able to get around the problem by keeping the zoom class and just letting that route to colorbox.

Oh there are no tpl files inside the folder you mentioned. Even in the github repo for cliche. See:

Guess the docs are wrong - kind of makes it hard to use!!!!
