    Hello!

I use MODx Revo 2.2.2 with Friendly URL turned on and Friendly Alias Path. That is I have "Gallery" category and the url looks like

    http://mysitename.com/gallery/

But when I create a directory named 'gallery' on the server I can't access the category anymore - I get directory listing instead.

Is it possible to fix the problem?

    Thanks!

That's correct - actual directories or files take precedence over friendly URLs. While it's possible to disable this in the htaccess, you will probably have issues linking to assets (ie a logo file) as it will be rewritten to MODX and MODX can't find the logo image by its URI in your resource tree.

Easiest is to just fix the URI clash - either change the alias for your Gallery category resource, or change the name of the directory.
