So here’s my problem...I’m using MODx 0.9.6 and I’ve got a TV with an input type of "File". I’m logged in as the Admin on this account with all the settings on the configuration as default (no overrides). I’m trying to make it so when I go to the TV on the document, I can add flv files by simply clicking "insert" next to the TV. The only problem is that when I click "insert" next to the TV, the pop up dialog box appears and when I go to "browse" and choose the flv file and then click upload, the message "Error, "Disallowed file type." "

I know flash files are to go into the flash folder, but it seems MODx would allow flv’s to be added as a file. Why is it doing this and how can I change that setting to make it work? Can I change the setting for this TV to default to the folder assets/flash?

    Thanks!

Double check user overrides are set to use the system defaults, or at least have the right file types there.

OK, it was a ID 10 T error. I didn’t have the FTP permissions set correctly on that folder on the server...my bad! sad

          Thanks for your input though!
