Permissions File Manager

Ola,

In MODX I'm the admin, I gave and editor an login with editor permissions. The editor can see and edit all files in the "[Files]" tab. (next to [Resources] [Elements] ).

I don't want the editor to see or be able to edit files in the file manager. How can I changer permissions for this?

Assuming you use MODX Revolution version 2.2.2-pl...
Go to: Tools > Media Source. You will find "Filesystem" as default media source there.

1.a) Right click "Filesystem", then klik "Update Media Source".
2.a) Set basePath and baseURL, for example to "assets/media/".
3.a) Klik "Access Permission" tab, and give access to you and to other specific admin group (editor)

Then create new media source, ie "Superadmin Media" source.
1.b) Right click "Superadmin Media", then klik "Update Media Source".
2.b) Set basePath and baseURL to "".
3.b) Klik "Access Permission" tab, and give access to you (administrator) only.
