The main problem I have here is that I don’t know what that what I’m looking for is called smiley So I’ll try to explain it a bit.

I have a couple of projects where I need to insert certain information in a database table, to be displayed on the site. For instance, for a tour operator I need to list tours, for a sport council I need to list member sport organizations. In the frontend the user should get a list of tours and should be able to click on the tour to get more information about the tour. In the backend I should be able to manage these tours. Ie. add new tours, edit existing tours, delete tours.

What is the best way to get this done? I’ve been looking around, but I’m not sure which search keywords to use to look this up.

Perhaps create a document for each tour and using Ditto for displaying them?

I’m thinking more of some admin form with fields like Tour name, description, price, min pax, max pax, where I can fill in the tour details. These details should be able to be read by other parts of the site.

If I would make a tour schedule, I would reference the tour, with a planned date. This would be a different form, one with tour (dropdown list created from existing tours?) and date of planned tour.

Same goes for destination details and pictures. So these parts would have to be inter-connectible.

Thanks for the input Ganesh. This does look like what I need. I’m going to look into this and let you know how it worked out.
