I'm running Revolution 2.2.2, with Newspublisher 1.2.1. The instruction page for Newspublisher makes it sound like it will automatically detect the field type for TVs and apply rich text or image browser capabilities as long as the logged-in user has manager privileges. That's not happening. When logged in with full manager privileges, I just get a regular textarea for richtext TVs and a small field with the image file name in it and no way to access the image browser. What am I missing? Newspublisher document has this code, for instance:
[[!NewsPublisher?
&show=`pagetitle,pub_date,content,ClientPhoto,RightSidebar`
&initrte=`1`
&initdatepicker=`1`
&rtcontent=`1`
&rtsummary=`1`
&published=`1`
]]
Sorry, the code got stripped out of my question. Here it is without the brackets:
!NewsPublisher?
&show=`pagetitle,pub_date,content,ClientPhoto,RightSidebar`
&initrte=`1`
&initdatepicker=`1`
&rtcontent=`1`
&rtsummary=`1`
&published=`1`
You need to put code tags around the code so the forum software doesn't remove it.
What you're trying to do should work, though TinyMCE is notoriously cranky.
There's a new version of NP that should be out as soon as I clear up some other things and squash some PHP notice bugs in the NP class file.
I just tested your snippet tag in the new version on MODX 2.2.2 and it works fine.
