Notice for MODx Folks using Verio - Potential Scare, Not to Worry

Just wanted to pass this on, maybe helpful, maybe not.

A MODx site that we were developing on a Verio server mysteriously stopped functioning properly (or at all for that matter) earlier today. Apache error logs were loaded up with various php session errors (session_name and session_cache_limiter and so on) so I started trippin’ as usual. Long story short is this -> Verio "upgraded" a bunch of server-wide configurations, one of which was PHP version, not clearly notifying affected clients that a after their upgrade, an additional "vInstall" PHP upgrade was required to be back in action based on the new configuration.

So if your MODx site went blank today, its an easy fix. cheers...
