Reuse MODx quick create, quick update

I'm implementing some functions to Batcher addon. I've added Explorer function to manipulate discovering child resources so that I can replace my resource tree. With this manage resources seems better than using tree resources when our documents catch a number.
I would like to add other functions like resource tree provides as well: Create, Update resources. I wonder whether I can reimplement from resource tree those functions, to cut off my time on those?

Maybe I have to copy quick update and quick create functions and make them work myself. I really want to hack the resource tree, but it's kinda complex for me right now.
