    Hi all,
Whether this has been covered before, I don't know (apologies if it has), but I could use a bit of 'non technical' assistance!

I have WAMP 2.0 running on my local machine and have installed Modx 1.0 for a latest project to configure it, as I always do for my other projects, offline prior to a web server install. After doing a full days local configuration yesterday, I returned to it this morning and cannot login to the manager login page; my browser will not let me in! Viewing the site with WAMP running is fine but then putting in the localhost/site_name/manager/ address into the address bar just makes my browser redirect me to an unknown page.

A previous Modx project, I did locally on my machine, I am able to login to the manager fine. I have even tried a fresh install this morning again but the same issue happens; I logout of the manager, view the site directly on the localhost, then try the manager address extension and it can't find it. I am wondering if it is a htaccess or modrewrite issue but I cannot, for the life of me, figure it out. Help!! I'd rather not lose all my work.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Check your .htaccess files. Make sure that they aren't trying to rewrite the request for the manager.
