This is it: wayfinder menu change dependin which site im currently at

Let´s see if i make myself clear.
On my site i use a Wayfinder menu and have set up a webuser which i assigned to a documentgroup etc.
I have also made 1 document/page only accessible by my webuser.
When i log in it seems fine but my special page only shows (in the wayfinder menu) up depending on where im at at the moment.

I hope i make sense couse my problem doesnt. wink

    Best regards.

You want this document to show in wayfinder no matter where you are in the hierarchy of the site, but only if you are logged in?

If this is the case, then you should make this special document’s parent the site root or (0).

The problem is that when im logged in as the web user i dont see the private page in the menu if im not at the page right before.
When i am at "Startsida" i dont see the private page "Bildgalleri". Not until im at the page "Blogg" the private page "Bildgalleri" appears in Wayfinder.
This is only a sandbox but i need to undestand this.

Is your Wayfinder snippet call un-cached? [tt][!Wayfinder!][/tt]

Pages are automatically cached when a page is loaded unless specifically disabled. The problem was your Wayfinder call cached those pages as if no user were logged in. So even logging in would yield the same result. The solution was to make Wayfinder generate the menu upon every request of each page smiley
