I am not able to upgrade 2.2.0 to 2.2.2 for one of my sites.
I am using MAMP and OSX. After downloading 2.2.2 I used the ditto command to merge the files. Using setup I got a blank page trying to install, all checks are green. So I raised the memory limit in php.ini to 64M with no result.
I tried to upgrade two other sites in the same way and this gave no problems, the only difference was that these sites already had 2.2.1
Anybody has a solution?

upgrade to 2.2.1 first ??

Tried that, gave the same result.
Logging in after I have got the blank page, MODX is still in 2.2.0-pl and I get this error: Could not find action file at: controllers/default/index.php .
Also I see in the manager login screen in the upper left corner a possibilility to choose a language. Maybe this helps.

I installed articles 1.4.7 manually by adding it to core packages, because 1.6.1 doesn't functions in 2.2.0. Could this be the cause of the troubles?
I don't know, I'm sure it is possible - since you are going to have to upgrade why not try uninstalling and removing Articles and then try to do the upgrade. I'm not sure Articles uninstall in the manager uninstalls everything that it installs, you may need to uninstall other extras it installed (or you installed manually)
I know I had Articles related problems after doing an upgrade (something to do with getResources calls and naming of getResources) fixed by uninstalling and re-installing extras - in fact I think I ended up just uninstalling/removing all my extras, and then reinstalling.

No succes, now I ended up rebuilding a lot!
I had to uninstall *and remove* articles, quip, taglister, and archivist. Then go into the DB and search for those names and do some more deleting to get back to normal. I think I may have also removed getResources and getPage. I don't know if all that was necessary, but it worked.

Couldn't solve it. So with a lot of copying and pasting I rebuilded the site in 2.2.2
