Sorry, dont know how to tiltle this one.
At the end of a News/Blog summery there is "Read more... Showing X of X Aticles ... Archives .. July 2007" etc.
Where do you set the language for all of this?
I only see where to set the admin lang., but thought that the front end was chosen by the browser settings.
I am trying to get all of this to display in Spanish, and cant seem to find where this text is pulling from.
Any help please
The frontend language is defined by the call of ditto:
&language=`spanish`
You can find the spanish language file in the MODx wiki:
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Ditto_es
Name this file spanish.inc.php and save it in assets/snippets/ditto/lang/
A browser does not know, with language a web server should use. For example I am German and my Firefox is English. You can try to identify the users country by the IP address, but this does it not correctly for users, who are using proxies. The next problem is, that there are several countries with different languages.

Thank you very much for the reply, I would have never thought of looking inside of the ditto snippet.
I changed it to Spanish, but I am still seeing info in English. I have been using "Search & Replace" to try and locate the other bits of text, but not having any luck either.
I am including a screenshot of the other bits I am talking about.
You still need the spanish language file as described in my previous answer.
The spanish language file for Ditto is not part of the MODx 0.96 installation.

Ditto has language file of its own. All Ditto language files are located in assets/snippets/ditto/lang/. The language file must start with the same name, as you send by parameter within the Ditto call.
{language name}.inc.php
You have to save the language file of the wiki to a local file and load this file up to your web server.
Yes, I am using it with other languages as English and it works very good for me.
