Passing TV image into blog container

so I'm trying to set up a TV to be a image which will act like a coverphoto for my blog post.

I am able to call the TV to display the image in the blog post with [[*coverphoto]]. However when I add a placeholder [[+coverphoto]] in my template file for getresource (which is how it lists my blog posts, not using articles) it doesn't display the image.

any ideas how to fix this or what im doing wrong?

getResources dosen't get the value of TVs by default, that's because in this way it loads faster. Add these parameters to your getResources call and it should work:
