OMG!,
I cant login into modx, nor access the website, what is likely to have happened? what files should i check? I have attached the the tree of files.
For all i know last time i was on the site it was fine..

Did you perhaps activate FURLS without the .htaccess file? Or, did you modify the .htacess in any way?
What happens when you try to log in?
The manager directory is probably the least likely culprit. Have you cleared the cache manually by deleting all the files in the cache directory? What other changes have you made in system settings?
I couldnt access the manager, i had the same error on the whole modx site (not the root of my site, which isnt modx). It is gone the way it came, but it is freaky, and rather embarrassing to be pointed out by a user!
Is there something i can do to investigate, make sure it idoesnt happen again? Maybe it isnt MODX relate after all, i am perplex
It keeps on happening through out the site manager, login in or uploading a picture, any idea anyone?

There's a number of possible causes, and possible solutions. Try searching here in the forums for "500 internal server error" (or try same search in google, add "modx") and see if any other posts have the solutions you need. I ran the search but without more information about what occurred prior to the error it's impossible to know what your particular solution might be.
