Captcha

    What does the captcha use? GD? Imagemack?

    I just got a new dedicated server and need to install it for the captcha to work. So any help is welcomed.

    Note: I already have GD installed on my server and it works fine yet the captcha still does not work. Also I am running MODx 0.9.5

      I’m having the exact same problem. Had it on 0.9.5, upgraded to 0.9.6, and it still doesn’t work.

        Captcha in MODx requires the GD library in order to work. I believe there were some problems in 095 that were resolved in 096 with this, but that’s only a vague memory at this point.

          I have GD installed, with Freetype. Here’s the line in PHP Info:

          ’--with-gd’ ’--with-freetype-dir=/usr/include/freetype2’ ’--with-ttf’

          I am also able to use GD functions outside of ModX.

          Again, I’m running 0.9.6, and CAPTCHA codes are still not working. Veriword.php shows nothing.
