    Having built a large number of sites in EVO 1.5 and dabbled with Revo a year ago, and back then I was not impressed with the speed, especially in manager, I left REVO alone.

    However decided to take an old static HTML site and use the latest REVO - and it is so much better!!

    I'm having one issue though - the site is www.ebenezerchapel.net

    f you look at the site and then look at the link in the top nav bar, for example "Interior" - you'll see it points to http://www.ebenezerchapel.net/interior.html however on clicking it I get in the address bar http://www.ebenezerchapel.net/~wwwebene/interior.html so it's adding my username of the server??

    Somehow it's putting in ~wwwebene I don't know how you refer to that - if I then want to access the Manager I have to type in http://www.ebenezerchapel.net/~wwwebene/manager/ took me a while to work that one out as I still see the Manager login page if I use http://www.ebenezerchapel.net/manager/ but my login details are incorrect

    I've followed all the instructions from this page http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Using+Friendly+URLs

    And this is my .htaccess is there anything obvious I'm missing or that I have to try and get the hosting guys to do?

    Many thanks

    # MODX supports Friendly URLs via this .htaccess file. You must serve web
    # pages via Apache with mod_rewrite to use this functionality, and you must
    # change the file name from ht.access to .htaccess.
    #
    # Make sure RewriteBase points to the directory where you installed MODX.
    # E.g., "/modx" if your installation is in a "modx" subdirectory.

    # You may choose to make your URLs non-case-sensitive by adding a NC directive

    #RewriteRule (.*) http://example-domain-please-change.com/$1 [R=301,L]

      Make sure you have this tag in the head section of all templates:

      <base href="[[++site_url]]" />

      You might also try turning off FURLs and renaming .htaccess. If that fixes things, it's definitely a FURL problem.

        Bob

        Thanks for the reply - unfortunately I already had that in the head of the template - is there a setting I could enter instead of ++site_url could I put the domain in there ?

        <html>
        <head>
        <base href="[[!++site_url]]"/>
        <title>Ebenezer Chapel - Portland Road - Worthing - West Sussex</title>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
        <meta name="description" content="">
        <meta name="keywords" content="">
        <meta name="Author" content="Ebenezerchapel.net">
        <meta name="Copyright" content="Ebenezerchapel.net">
        <meta http-equiv="Language" content="En">
        <style type="text/css">

        I turned off FURLS and Manager still did not work - put in the #wwwebene and logged in - went to a resource and previewed and the address came up as http://www.ebenezerchapel.net/~wwwebene/index.php?id=2

        So maybe not FURLs
