New Resource, "Clear Cache" checkbox unchecked. 2.2.2-pl

Greetings,

Fresh install of 2.2.2-pl. Issue both with new document creation & change template on existing document.

• Existing document - change template: "Empty cache" checkbox becomes unchecked
• New document, created via "New Document" icon at top of resource tree: "Empty cache checkbox is not checked
• New document, created via right-click / "Create Document Here" in resource tree: "Empty cache checkbox is not checked
• New document, created via right-click / "Quick Create / Document" in resource tree: "Clear cache on save" checkbox is checked
• Editing document, via right-click / "Quick update resource" in resource tree: "Clear cache on save" checkbox is checked

Survivable, if maintainers remember to manually place the check mark. Otherwise content editors are puzzled why document does not appear/update.

No errors in error log. No other abnormal interface behavior.

Note: other semi-related past threads have discussed server MySQL / PHP timezone incompatibilities & template changes. Not seeing that type of problem, and timezones match.

PHP 5.2.17
DB: MySQL: 5.1.61-community-log
Revolution 2.2.2-pl (advanced) - core outside of document_root

Updated a site to 2.2.2 from 2.2.1 a couple days ago.
I see the same behaviour as the OP

I also have no time zone issues - I just double checked

This was fixed in 2.2.5 and I just re-confirmed; make sure you clear your browser cache or force refresh the page to get the latest Javascript after an upgrade.

It is about "Quick Update Resource" in resource tree when I click right button mouse on resourse:
"Quick Update Resource" -> "Settings" -> "Clear Cache on Save" - this panel - checkbox don't work.
I click it, but when I view again on "Quick Update Resource" - it no change.

It is going to always be checked when you Quick Update a Resource. You have to manually uncheck it to indicate if the cache should not be cleared when you click Save; the default behavior is for it to do so. There have been requests for a setting to control this default value, but at the moment, it is always checked when you first load the Quick Create/Update or regular Resource Create/Update forms.

In "Quick Update a Resource" this checkbox ALWAYS stays "on", regardless of my actions. I think that this behavior is not normal. Therefore created the bug report.
If I manually disable this checkbox "Clear cache on save" on menu "Quick Update a Resource", the next time I view "Clear cache on save" on menu "Quick Update a Resource" remains on (at one and the same resource).
Give it a try to disable this box from this menu and see what happens and you will understand what I mean.

Again, this only applies to the current Save action. It does not persist across uses of Quick Update. It will always be checked after you open the Quick Update dialog.
