By any chance does the name of your TV have a space in it? David Nuñez has hit upon the possibility that there might be an issue with spaces in TV names (at least in this context). More info here:

As is often the case, ZAP is an authoritative source on this and many other topics!
FWIW, from a newbie perspective, I had trouble saving TV values too, and it drove me almost insane. In my case, I would be editing something, and the browser would "helpfully" fill in ahead of my typing. [I’m using FF and Windows, in case that’s pertinent]. If I just hit Enter to accept the "suggested text", the text would appear in the box as expected, but after I clicked Save, it did not save it!
Finally, after much swearing, I found that if I manually typed every single character, it saved OK. Even if the "suggested text" was exactly what I was going to put in there, I have to type every single letter.
Along with the "suggested text" not working, I don’t think cut and paste worked, either, if I remember correctly. Just good old manual typing. Weird, isn’t it?
I hope that helps someone!
Cheers, Samba
PS: You just never know how this is going to work. After posting this, on another site I simply could not get the TV value to save, even trying what I did above, BUT... I had been editing in the Manager. After uttering some very choice profanity, I finally decided to try something I never use - QuickEdit - and that worked. I have been reading about this, and the javascript complexities and problems just made my eyes glaze over. As the newer versions of MODx come out, maybe they’ll nail it.

Shucks. That’s a nice thing to say. I do my best to make every mistake that anyone could possibly make and stumble blindly upon every existing problem so that others don’t have to...

MODx version 0.9.6.1p2
Version codename rev 3281
Crayco,
Glad to be of help! Though it would be nice if they got this working, I assume that it’s extremely difficult to get any editor working with Javascript for multiple browsers, and I don’t have the time to volunteer, so I try to help by at least pointing out what worked for me.
I will also be doing some bilingual sites in my favorite language, Spanish, and probably French too. Looking around here, I’ve seen a few ways to get a bilingual site going. I’ll admit that other CMS’s I’ve looked at are considerably further ahead on language support, but if it’s not too complex, MODx should be able to handle it.
Cheers, Samba

Sedgar, you have to have input option values for check boxes to work. Or am I misunderstanding the problem?
