I've tried searching for the answer, but can't seem to find it, and was wondering if anyone else has ever encountered this problem, and could perhaps point me in the right direction. This is occurring both in MODX Revolution, 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 pl, traditional installations.

I have created a custom manager theme by duplicating the default theme in manager/templates. I have made changes to the css and several templates. I have updated the system setting for Manager Theme and set it to the name of my custom folder. And it all works fine. I log into the manager and see the new styles and new theme, no problem.

Unless I go to create a new Resource. Anytime I create a new resource, the manager reverts back to the default theme. The cache has been cleared, I've tried from other browsers, I've tried from other machines. Creating any type of new resource sets you back to the default theme. Save it, edit it, go to a different area, and you are back to the custom theme.

I have searched through all of the files in my custom theme, and nothing seems to be directly referencing the default theme. Yet I can verify in Firebug that the "create" pages are in fact referencing the manager/templates/default folder.

Has anyone else encountered this? Can anyone perhaps give me some ideas of what may be wrong or possible fixes? If I completely overwrite the default directory with the files from my custom directory, the "create" pages work just like the rest of the site (though the manager_theme setting is still set to custom). But I am loathe to overwrite the default theme as a "fix", as I would rather have it done the correct way.

Any help or clues would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

If its defaulting to the manager/templates/default folder then I would say it's a bug.

Can you register it as a bug on the tracker so it doesn't get lost in the forums
