You could use i.e. the docfield modifier for that. Example call for the sidebar config:

[+element:docfield=`pagetitle`+]

Thanks for the prompt reply Jako. I understand the phx modifier call but how do I call that from my multiTV snippet call? If I have something like this:

Can I add the the phx call in my outerTpl and rowTpl? And how does the ID get passed?

Use the PHx modifier inside of cecRowTpl.

I have tried that but get nothing. I have turned PHx logging on to see what that produces and it just logs the ID of the current resource. I still don't understand how the ID of the resource I am trying to get the TVs from gets passed from the MultiTV call to the PHx modififer?

Thanks for your help Jako, I got there is the end. I didn't realise that 'element' in

[+element:docfield=`pagetitle`+]

needs to be the same as the MultiTV element. So in my case I had a MultiTV which is called assets and the call in my rowTpl is

[+assets:docfield=`pagetitle`+]

.
