Gallery Installation unsuccessful Error when editing pages now

Hey all,

I tried installing Gallery, unfortunately to no avail. I just noticed that when I try to edit a page now I get a fatal error: Fatal error: Call to a member function addLexiconTopic() on a non-object in /path/to/core/cache/includes/elements/modplugin/2.include.cache.php on line 56

Has anyone got an idea how to fix Gallery for my install?

Hi,

I am assuming you are talking about v1.5.0? - you'll need to specify the version to get better help than me...

I had this exact problem going from 1.3.0 to 1.5.0 on a iiS server (whether that had anything to do with it, BTW, don't install MODX on a iiS server if you have the choice : /). I ended up having to remove the 1.5.0 version: (In Package Management, uninstall Gallery 1.5.0, then right click on the gallery package and choose 'View Package', then go to the 'Uploaded Versions' tab and right-click on 1.5.0 and 'Remove Package Version' and reinstall v1.3.0).

If you want to keep any galleries you have already you'll probably need to back up the assets/components/gallery/files folder via FTP because they got wiped by the reinstall.
