    Hi,

I am having a problem securing pages for a particular Web User Group. When try logging in, another login dialogue box pops up. When I enter the username and password again it says my credentials are incorrect.

This is what I have done:

    • Created a Web User Group, a Document Group and linked them,
    • Created a Web User and assigned it to the group,
    • Created a Secure Page only accessible by the Web User Group
    • Created a login page.

You can see the problem in action here:

    • http://www.isarodeo.com.au/index.php?id=124 – login page
    • http://www.isarodeo.com.au/index.php?id=123 – Secured page
    • Login: Username – test, Password – password

    Here are the technical details:

    • Web Server - PHP 4.4.6, IIS 6, Windows 2003
    • Database - MySQL 4.1.22
    • Modx – V0.9.5
    • Browser /Client – IE 7, Windows XP Service Pack 2

Would greatly appreciate any insight to this problem.

    Kylie

      Hi guys,

is anyone able to help me with this? Has anyone else had the same issue on a Windows installation of Modx?

You appear to have some kind of Apache .htaccess security applied to where the login page is supposed to take users. Is it possible you have an actual resource on the server with the same alias as the secured page target?
