    I have installed the SSL plugin, but on the secured page there is AjaxSearch which shows no results after submitting search.

    In the plugin instruction it states:

    Prepend this placeholder to links that must always point to https regardless if the page the link appears on is encrypted or not:
    ((secure.server))

    Prepend this placeholder to links that must always point to http regardless if the page the link appears on is encrypted or not:
    ((insecure.server))

    (Note that using these last two placeholders should only be necessary for forms that POST data to another page, eg login forms and search forms where you don't want the page to redirect thus losing your POSTed data).

    Which links? Where? Could anyone explain to me where exactly I should put this placeholder to make AjaxSearch work?

    SSL 1.0.0-ga

      After some days of searching, I finally found the solution so I'm posting it, maybe it can help someone in the future.
      The file where the ((insecure.server)) should be appended is the Ajax Search template, in my case it was the default template placed in assets/snippets/ajaxSearch/templates/input.tpl.html and the line to change was
      <form id="[+as.formId+]" action="((insecure.server))[+as.formAction+]" method="post">
