I got a problem,
the snippet I wrote, do check remote sites and publish content on my site in certain pages,
So I call it on the page where i need the content to be published
[[mysnippet]]
.. the rest is ditto call
but when i moved the snippet content to plugin
[[myplugin]] and set events(on cache update or webpage prerender)
nothing happend
no errors, just nothing
What so special about plugins do they require some additional programming?
The short answer is no; they don’t usually require any additional programming. But they do work a little bit differently from snippets in that you don’t generally just spit out your output and it appears on the page. If you post your code here we can help you to figure out why it might not be behaving as you expect as a plugin.
