[REVO / Articles] Problems with umlauts (a/o/u with dots on top)

Hello,

i hav e new MODX Revolution 2.2.1 installation with articles-1.6.0.

When i write a new article with umlauts (a/o/u with dots on top - it is a german site) the text is without errors. But the umlauts in the comment makes problems (see the attached picture).

I think its a Problem of quip.

What can i do?

OK, for one of the two errors it gives an ticket in the bugtracker: http://tracker.modx.com/issues/7543
When i disable the use_multibyte core setting then i have no error.

For the second error (wrong character in the german word for the month March/März) i have no answer :-(
