Its great that you can show information using placeholders for logged in users.

But what if I wanted to show profile pages or information about other users?

Look into the Login (specifically the Profile/UpdateProfile snippets) and Peoples Extras.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of peoples, i also had not realised the extent of profile.

I have a question about profile. I want to display a list of resources via getResources. The resources have a TV which displays the creator of the document. I want to use that TV with the profile snippet to grab the users photo.

Heres the code in my getResources chunk:

        [[!Profile? &user=`[[+tv.author]]` &prefix=`creator.`]]<img src="[[+creator.photo:phpthumbof=`w=15&h=15&zc=1`]]" />

However in practise there are a number of issues. Firstly this only works when logged in as a user. If not logged in as a webuser nothing is displayed. Secondly the photo displayed seems to be the photo of the current user.

Do you know what I am doing wrong? Can I actually call multiple profile calls like this?
