Trying to install 0.9.6 in sub directory - Getting blank page - "Loading.."

I have installed ModX before and have it running on a couple of live sites. I have actually had it installed on this server before so I am not sure what is going on. I deleted all files and and DB file from previous install.

I changed persmissions correctly and followed install guide (3 times) to the last detail. When I try to go to the install page the title of the page says "Loading..." and the page appears to continually reload but nothing happens.

Thank you in advance.

I had this happen to me. It has to do with server sessions and them not being set up correctly. The way I fixed this was, I got a specific location from my host were sessions could be written to and added this to the top of the installer php file, manager php file and the index.php file
