Hi,
I’m trying to set a way for users to post and edit news/event information. In addition to the main content, there will be location, several other custom text fields, and maybe a photo. I was thinking that having each of these as a TV is the way to go.
However, I am a bit stuck on how to get them to be editable via the front end. I know NewsEditor can be used to edit the standard document variables (title, description, content - I have done this successfully on another part of the site) as well as possibly one TV. However, I would like to be able to edit several TVs on the one form in the front-end. How can this be done?

The FDM snippet is what I am working on to give clients limited document control in the interface. I think it is definitely the way to go for what you are looking.

Thanks: this is great! It is exactly what I need. I’m surprised that this is so new though, I would have thought this type of snippet would have been created long ago, as it just seems so useful for so many things!
