If only MODX could...

Ever have a MODX moment where you think

...wouldn't it be incredible if MODX could do X ...

then load up the forums or BobRay's book and realise that it can? And not only that but that it's simple and solves a complex client problem.

I tend to have a related problem though - MODX can often solve a problem multiple ways (up to and including building something yourself) and I quite often get stuck wondering what the 'best' solution is.

Then, more often than not, I spend 90% of my project time getting the Extra I thought solved world poverty/hunger/famine and had a gorgeous bod to boot, to do the one thing it doesn't quite do as I would like it to. It's a great way to lose days of your life (as I have with FileLister, PDFBridge and ShopKeeper).

Still, it's all in the game.....
