SOLVED :: 2.2.1 install presents an unstyled manager???

Hi,

I have installed 2.2.1-pl 3 times now and the manager appears unstyled so it's basically a list with no items 'clickable'. This is the same across all browsers but it does work fine locally with MAMP. When i select any part of the Manager it seems the stytlesheets are not being seen although they so appear in the head section.
2.2.0 works fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Maybe you need to disable compression, read this: JS Errors in the Manager due to Error 400 Javascript Issues.

I ran into a similar issue with nothing but the top nav in the manager showing up. @microcipcip's suggestion worked for me in that case, too.
