Hi and thanks for a great site!

My MODx site has been working fine for a couple of weeks, but now when i try to update a page i get the following error message, but i only get the error message on one page, when i try to update other pages I don’t get the error message but nothing happens after Ive saved the update - it doesn’t save the changes Ive made. Here is the error message:

An error occured while attempting to save the edited document. The generated SQL is: UPDATE `bellowsskateboards_com`.modx_site_content SET introtext=’’, content=’

    I’m using these components:

    PHP 4.4
    Apache 1.3
    UNIX server
    MySQL 4.1
    MODx 0.95

    Thanks
    Andreas

Anything special about the content you are attempting to save?

Now the error message only shows when i try to edit the "news page" on the site and that page contains images, youtube embedded videos, text and links.

The guys who i made the site for has earlier been uploading images with wrong characters and things like that which made things not work. I fixed those issues but this error makes me think they might have done something similar which causes this error.

        Thanks
        Andreas

          Hmm i guess I’m stuck.

Sometimes i can edit a page but most of the times not, when i cant nothing happens if i try to remove or ad content after Ive saved the page.

This happens on pages with different content.

          Any ideas?

          Thanks

The problem got worse and i got new error messages which said there was something wrong with my tables in the database.

In phpmyAdmin, at the bottom of the page i used "repair tables" and then "optimize tables" and that fixed the problem.
