Hello. I want to store more information about my web users when they sign up, like the organization they work for, their mailing address, etc. I also want to split the "fullname" field in the modx database to "first name" and "last name." I can definitely go into the database and add these fields to the web_user_attributes table, but will this mess up my modx installation, or prevent me from upgrading my version in the future?
I know MODx is very flexible, but when it comes to storing data about users, it seems lacking.
Any help would be appreciated!
