Answered upgraded 2.2.0 to 2.2.1, error 310: too many redirects

    I upgraded on localhost from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1 then started getting error 310: too many redirects on all pages within the context except the home page.

    What is borked in 2.2.1 that causes this?? Luckily I was easily able to roll back to 2.2.0.

    MODx needs more quality control?? This bug plus all the Articles bugs (including breaking backward compatibility) is irritating sine 2.2.1 supposedly has some desirable fixes.

      Same problem here. Trying to fix...

        Someone has fixed it in this commit. (You can make the same change in your modrequest.class.php).

        Looks like we need next patch release.

          Tried this, discovered that context setting for base URL on one context was incorrect.
          Repairing the base URL made the redirects go away.

            thx yurkobb. This helped me also to run utf8 URL's correctly in 2.2.1.

              Is this bug posted in bugtracker of MODX?
