    Hi there,

I've got a Linux Plesk server with straight forward configuration and have had a website running off Modx 096 for a long time now. All of a sudden we have had just this website not allow any manager to login at all. It just reloads the login screen with no error reports of any kind.

I did install mcrypt a couple of weeks ago if anyone knows anything about it affecting this problem. It was around this time the login stopped.

    Regards,

    Neil

096 is way old, I'd see if you can update that to 1.0.6 at some point. I don't typically advise to update while a site is not working, but with a version that old it may fix some issues (though it's not a 5 minute upgrade, I can promise you that).

What I've seen happening before is servers getting updated to PHP 5.3, which breaks I think Evolution before 1.0.2.

Could also be a misbehaving MySQL connection, session configuration, plugins, hacked site.. hard to tell.
