Creating categories in MiniShop

Hi,

When I want to add goods to MiniShop it says I have to choose a category. But when I click the 'Categories' menu in the first tab it disappears immediately after I click it. The 'categories' tab is also completely greyed out, so I can't add any goods to my store. How do I add categories to my shop?

1. Category - a resource with a template that is specified in system setting minishop.categories_tpl
2. Category must be a container (isfolder = 1)

Hi ,
i find it very counter-intuitive to have to make a page then change the template just to create a category.
Why not make a tab 'categories' to manage the categories?
very promising plugin BTW the most needed thing for MODX in my opinion
