I recently installed the following installation package after doing a fresh install of MODX Revolution 2.2.0-pl2 (traditional) ---

It's probably my fault for tying this out - as this is Alpha release.
Sadly I am kind of stuck… any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am a designer not a coder
This install seems to be basically working on my WIP website - except for the gallery page

As you can see the top level gallery has a thumb, but nothing else does. The links to the images themselves work. However the lightbox function I was (perhaps wrongly) expecting does not.
I have a Components > Gallery item, and seem to be able to create galleries - upload images etc, but thumbnails are not showing / being generated.
I am wondering if there are other installed items I need to get this to work?
I did have a look around the forums, but not sure what dependencies exist for the Gallery / phpThumb if any. I asked my web host to install ImageMagik, but it didn't help - maybe I need to configure the path in phpThumb prefs?
I have to say I am confused by the fact it is partially working...

Does the Gallery extra create thumbnails itself, or does it tie in with phpThumb?
Maybe there's another plugin I need to install and configure to actually create the thumbs?
Does Gallery create a lightbox, or does it integrate with lightbox packages somehow (maybe I need to install a lightbox extra)?
Maybe A MODX system setting is incorrect?
