How do I change the order of documents (children)

I don't think so, Ditto is another snippet used for displaying content from other pages. Maybe the menu is hardcoded? Can you find the exact place in the template where you should see the code for the menu?

Oh and Pete, thanks for the detailed instructions. It helps to ensure that I do it right step by step.

Actually that might be it. change the

orderBy=`creadton ASC`

to

orderBy=`menuindex ASC`

and make sure you have the menu index set on each page accordingly, like I said in my origianl reply.

Can you give a link to the site so I can look at the page it might help. Not the manage but the frontend page.
