I've only been working on ModX for a couple weeks now and I actually had to start over a couple of times, I think there was an add-on package that broke my ModX install, so I deleted and started over.
Well, anyways, I had to try getting furls to work several times because of these problems, and the reason I bring this up is because I don't know if my problem has anything to do with furl's or not.
I was starting over on a brand new install, and put together the Template and started putting up a couple of pages, but once I started working on sub-pages, and the "parent" page turned into a container, or the IsFolder variable turned to True, then my page started displaying wrong. It seems - at least to me, that the template isn't functioning correctly, however, I can't imagine why making the page into a container/folder would do that.
Also, there is one other odd behavior that happens. When I uncheck the "Container" property in the manager, it doesn't really "fix" the problem unless, or until I go and un-publish the page, then re-publish it again.
Has anyone else had this problem, and came up with a solution?
