hi
it's been a long time since I last posted here but now I need your help again
I am using MODX Revolution 2.1.3-pl (advanced) and encounter 500 status errors instead of 404 and it looks like 404 error page doesn't work in all circumstances
to make it more clear, I am providing with few real examples of my site
here is this link
http://bit.ly/HiHKMh which should give a custom 404 page but instead it results in a 500 error page (this page was a symlink which together with its main page was deleted, not needed any more)
the website uses categories and subcategories and at the very bottom individual product pages, like in the ex below:
Category page: www.domain.com/category/ (404 works well if misspelled)
Subcategory page1: www.domain.com/category/subcategory1/ (404 works well if misspelled)
Sub-subcategory 1: www.domain.com/category/subcategory1/sub-subcategory1/ (404 works well if mistyped)
Product page: www.domain.com/category/subcategory1/sub-subcategory1/product1.html (gives 500 in case of mistyped category name or product name)
Probably there is a bug or something I am missing but definitely it looks like 404 handling is not quite OK.
Here is an ex
http://bit.ly/I5J52w and same page but misspelled here

I would really appreciate if anyone could give me a hint why 404 pages seem not to be working in this case.
Thanx in advance
