Hi all,
i'm trying to install modx Evolution on my webspace at hosteurope.de. I've done this a thousand time, but this times it stops without an error or a log entry when i'm trying to insert the database connection.
I tried to copy a running version from another server to this server but the only thing i see is a blank white screen for the frontend and the backend.
The support says, that it cannot be installed because there's PHP 5.3.10 running on the server and the max. documented requirements are PHP 5.2.17.
Does anyone has the same probs or a clue about this issue?

It's not the PHP version. It sounds more like a MySQL configuration problem.
I'm running 5.3.6 on my MAMP with no problems.

There should be no problems installing/using Evo 1.0.5+ (older version don't support php 5.3.x) with php 5.3.10. It does sound like a database error, so you may want to check with your host.
