I've been using Evo for over two years now (don't get me started on trying to login to these forums with my old username and password - did those get thrown out with the update or something?). Anyway, Revo has some awesome changes, but by god does the user management seem obtuse. I guess I'm just annoyed at how different everything is. =)
Anyway, all I want to do is point the file manager to a specific directory. According to the site settings, I have to do it in Media Sources. I go to media sources and create a new one called "images" but that is ID #2, so the first thing that shows up is ID #1 "Files" - which is not listed in the Media Sources, so I can't modify it. And it goes to the root, which I don't want. I'd be happy to just change the "Files" media source to a different directory, if I could just get at the thing.
Help?!
Try in this way:
1. Go to "Tools > Media Sources > Filesystem"
2. Change the value of "basePath", mine is "assets/images/"
If that doesn't work and you have TinyMCE, you may also need to do the following:
1. Go to "Tools > Media Sources > TinyMCE"
2. Change the value of "basePath", mine is "assets/"
3. Change the value of "baseUrl", mine is "assets/"
