Just saw an update to Articles 1.5.0, and clicked to install. Install console showed following:

Attempting to install package with signature: articles-1.5.0-pl
    Package found...now preparing to install.
    Grabbing package workspace...
Workspace environment initiated, now installing package...

Notice "failed" message in last line. Attached is the full Console text.

The Package Management does not have "reinstall" button by Articles 1.5.0, only available options are "install" (which fails) and "remove" option, i'm afraid that if i remove it, it will loose all the data and templates i have configured. How can i go back to previous "working" version? Any ideas?

The page itself in browser shows following text:

So I backed up Articles related stuff, just in case. Clicked "Remove" package button, and it let me re-install previous version. Looks like everything is back to where it was.

Articles 1.5.0 requires MODX 2.2.1 to run.

I installed 2.2.0 and updated to 2.2.1. Installing this addon I first got a message about unable to unzipper quip.
When I installed it manually, and reinstalled the article addon I got the same errors.
