I just upgraded MODX Revo site to 2.2, and site has 100 contexts. Each context has a unique media source associated with it.
Since the upgrade, I am getting an error every time I attempt to update a file through the file manager in MODX. The error I am receiving is: File does not exist!: -filename. This was not an issue prior to update. This happens for all different levels of accounts, including Administrator.
Interesting note, when updating a file in the manager, I select the Media Source, go through file structure and then select update file. When the file opens up in the window, the File Manager drop down reverts back to FileSystem. I do not know if this is related or a reason why the file cannot be found.
I have no problems uploading files or deleting files. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I have a much simpler scenario - one media source - that I think has the same issue. I've assigned that MS to a specific user. When they log in and edit a resource with File content, it will
appear to display the correct file bucket, but if you select a file from that window the file name in the TV will look like:
Is that what you're seeing? If I then click on the Media Source drop down, select the Media Source, and click on the Media Source folder, that seems to force the correct relative URL for that Media Source.
Even assigning it as default Media Source still means you have to click on the Media Source folder to 'refresh' the file list correctly.

I had considered that too, but that did not work.
I had selected the media source, selected in folder structure templates/theme/css/main.css.
It loads the css file on the page and file drop down reverts back to FileSystem.
I then went back in on the drop down, selected the media source, selected the same folder structure and selected the css file.
I then went in and hit submit, and still got the error...
File does not exist!: templates/theme/css/main.css
I'd be interested to know whether you sorted this out, as I'm having the same problem.
Tried to set up a CSS Media source, with BasePath and BaseURL set to assets/css/ however when I select that Media Source in the File Browser, click on the relevant stylesheet and try to save changes, I get the File does not exist!: styles.css error as well.
