I know I must be doing something wrong...

I am trying to set up a blog with Articles and with comments enabled. Everything works fine until the moderator tries to check the comments to approve or not. There I get a 'permission denied!'.

Under Advanced Settings | Security | I am under Moderators and under Moderator Group.

I made it work on a separate install with only one user. Does anyone else get this error?

Thanks. [ed. note: kariocecus last edited this post 14 years, 6 months ago.]

I have successfully installed modx 2.2.1 and articles 1.6 but I continue with this error. Can anyone out there help me.
      Please.

For different user groups you will need to specifically assign the Quip Moderator Policy as well.

        Eg:

Choose the "web" context instead if you want to moderate from the front-end.
Mark Hamstra • Developer spending his days working on Premium Extras and a MODX Site Dashboard with the ability to remotely upgrade MODX and extras to make the MODX world a little better.

Tweet me @mark_hamstra, check my infrequent blog at markhamstra.com, my slightly more frequent ramblings at MODX.today or see code at Github.

          Thanks.
Tried that and still didn't work, I then found out (don't remember where) that reinstalling TagLister and Quip might fix the problem. And it did!
