Hello All,
I'm very happy with my choice to use MODX. Everything is looking good so far.
I'm looking for some advice on some specific functionality I need for a project. My site will be an educational, "open-source" information site. The idea is to recruit users that will help to write and maintain the content on the website.
My question: how can this be done in MODX? I want users to be able to comment on pages/articles on the web-side, but for these few "select" users, they would have access to edit a certain area of the site.
Is this a good use of MODX? What plugins/snippets/etc. would I need to pull this off?
Thank you in advance.

Which version of MODx? Both versions have add-ons to allow registered user to create posts or articles, and both also have robust commenting add-ons.
Hi Susan,
I'm using Revolution. Thanks!
to create or edit resources from frontend you can also use Bob's newspuplisher or formit with something like the formit2resource-hook (somewhere on the forums, see my signature)

This is something, that isn't self explaining, but now I know how to see it, thanks.

I didn't discover it for quite a while myself. That's why I do this on my posts now:
