I’m wondering if there is a short-cut way of setting page-edit permissions. If I understand it correctly, and this is what I’ve done before, the way you normally set up permissions is:
- Create a document group
- Add a document (or documents) to this
- Create a user group
- Add a user (or users) to this
- Link the document group and user group
This works perfectly fine for 99% of what I want to do. But I have a particular case where this would be awkward. I have to set up pages for individual staff members (there are about 75 of these), and each member of staff will need to be able to edit their own page, but not anyone else’s staff pages. However, the site administrator would need to be able to edit all those pages. Now, I could set up 75 user groups and 75 document groups for these. But that would be a ridiculous amount of work and it would make the interface when creating new documents really unwieldy, as it would list all 75 of those document groups at the bottom. So, is there any way of matching a single user to a single document without using document groups and user groups?
Thanks!
I’ll take a look at that and see if I can make it work. Thanks, B-RaD.

Do a search for PPP; that may be more along the lines of what you are looking for.
Hi Jason. That does look much more like what I’m after. Thanks!
