parse error? '"', expecting T_STRING

    (Sorry double post, but i think it's more server related than TinyMce)

    When i place a link into the content field, after saving the url like: [ ~88~] it makes that url :

    <a href="http://www.abc.com/\"http:/www.abc.com/[~ 88~]\"">

    I also got this error:

    '"', expecting T_STRING in document.parse

    I think on the hostserver there are done some bad settings/update?

    When i go to Config i get a popup with:
    TinyMCE Rich Text Editor - OnRichTextEditorRegister
An error occurred while loading. Please see the event log for more information.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '"', expecting T_STRING in /home/abc.com/public_html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(790) : eval()'d code on line 2

      Is this the plugin configuration, or the site configuration? Looks like a TinyMCE problem to me. Try re-uploading the tinymce folder in assets/plugins; you might have a corrupted file in there somewhere. With all those little .js files it sometimes happens.

      Do you have any problem if you disable TinyMCE in the resource, and edit the content to put the link tags by hand? And if you disable the plugin altogether?

        hi,

        two little things to add

        sounds like either you have written your link this way
        href="http://www.abc.com/[~88~]"
        when
        href="/[~88~]" is enough
        or your tinyMCE path option is set to fullpathurl, is yes, try rootrelative

        looks like you have magic_quotes (at least gpc) set to on on your server as part of you quotes are escaped, first thing to do, use htaccess or php.ini (or an email to your hoster smiley) to get rid of those

          Pritty sure it seems to be magic quotes, after saving in a chunk, befor " there came a \"
          Also i couldn't use tinymce anymore after checking config and saving, prolly it screwed it up.

          Backup needed and think that will solve it after setting the quotes on/off.

            it where the magicquotes, because of changing some tinymce settings and saving the plugin code had \" in it.
