Hi, I'm crating my first site in modx revo 2.2.0pl, using tinymce as the content editor. I've created new TV's but notice on one of them (footer area for example), there is no tinymce editor displaying at the top with all icons like in the default content editing area of the document.. And on the second TV, there's a partial display of the tinymce icons for editing which appear at the bottom. Is there a way to have all the tinymce icons display for my TV's? since this is what my clients will need to use in order to edit those regions.
One other point.. am i best to use a chunk or tv for the footer region. It's fairly basic consisting just of copyright, navigation, text and some images
I'm a newbie like yourself, so can't help with the TinyMCE issue.
But for post two ... Chunks are perfect for footers, as they are useful for items that stay the same from page to page, but that you still want to be easily editable.
Ok, thanks a lot for your input, i'll use a chunk
